This is what the area needs so badly, new and unique food that is finer dining. I cannot wait to see what they continue to do. I could not rave about the food more, full of flavor and spices while done with a deft hand. The shrimp pil pil was a perfect starter. The shrimp was perfectly cooked in a sauce that offered the warmth and brightness in harmony. The Lamb shank was truly a Mount Rushmore execution of lamb. The minute you touch it with your fork, you know based on the tenderness that they nailed it. The only thing I want more of is all the savory drippings to sop up with the Moroccan bread because I couldn’t get enough of it. The Zaalouk paired perfectly with this dish offering a nice creamy and smokiness. The attention to detail with sourcing of high quality Moroccan wine (and the use of the spice aroma in their excellent cocktails) should not be left without mentioning. Such an approachable yet intimate experience, run, don’t walk here.

The flavors and execution were excellent through every course of our meal. We had the mussels, chicken bastilla, saffron rice, Atlas Tangia, and chocolate mousse. We can't wait to return and try everything on menu. Everything was exceptional and memorable!

In an unassuming little strip of shops, there is a direct portal to the flavors of Morocco. Had lots of things on the first try. The classic harira soup took me back to my cooking class in Fez. Tried the lovely shrimp and calamari spinach salad. The dressing was a citrus delight. Had the lamb tajine and eggplant zaalouk as a side. Fall off the bone lamb shank. The cocktail list was lovely. I ended up with an apricot and turmeric non alcoholic cocktail that was sublime. Even with no room left, had the chocolate saffron puree mousse and Moroccan tea service. Satisfaction down memory lane of my wonderful travels in this beautiful country. Ps. Peep the art work around the room. :) beautiful photos but there’s a few that will make you smile even harder.

We had a fantastic dinner at Marrakesh. Service all around was fantastic, everyone who worked there was very friendly and helpful. For food, we loved the lamb Atlas Tangia, which is presented from a clay pot. The chicken bastilla pastry entree was also delicious and had very unique flavors! Highly recommend the mussels starter, some of the best mussels I have had in a long time! We went with the savoy cabbage as a side, based on the server recommendation, and we enjoyed this as well, as it had great flavors and balanced the richness of the lamb dish. Drinks were all solid as well.

Fantastic new Moroccan restaurant! Perfect for a romantic date night, after work appetizers & drinks or to even chill at the bar and catch a good soccer game. Authentic recipes, high quality food and an incredibly talented classically trained French & Moroccan chef. Very welcoming! Try the mussels, they are unbelievably delicious! Great drink menu too.

One of the best dining experiences I've had in Indianapolis in a while. Started with a Moroccan-spiced Bloody Mary—really nicely layered with warm spices, not overly salty, real depth of flavor. The Tajine Mussels were excellent, and when they were out of the Bastilla (busy night before — good sign), we pivoted to the Atlas Tangia. That slow-cooked lamb in the clay pot was phenomenal... Finished with the Saffron Chocolate Mousse and mint tea. Family-owned, clearly cooking from real tradition + French/italian-trained chef (former chef of Anthony's in Carmel), and the service matched the quality of the food. This place is a gem. We'll be back.

We loved this place. The minute you walk in, you are treated with warmth and importance. The staff is well trained and they are there to make you feel welcomed and appreciated. The dishes are well portioned, with flavors well balanced, and none were overpowering. The meats were tender and juice, the seafood on point and flavorful. The overall experience was perfect, we never felt rushed, the table was always clean, and the meals were always warm. The whole atmosphere is very middle eastern, and I was transported to Morocco. The chef Asir came by, and made our experience lovely. My wife and I felt we were with friends and family, complete unbelievably experience! Thank you

I have been waiting for this place to open for months! I tried the apricot turmeric spritz, marina salad, harira soup, lamb tajine, zaalouk, chocolate mousse, and the tea. Everything was great, but highlights were the lamb tajine and the tea service. The lamb fell off the bone and the flavor was a mix of sweet and spicy. I’ll be back for more of that. The tea service was a lovely way to finish out the meal. The owner, chef, and server were all helpful and very friendly. Thrilled to have this place in the neighborhood.
